How to Plant a Windowbox

Select a windowbox that is as wide as the window or just a little bit wider
Get the right soil - not soil from the yard bc it will be too heavy
Select plants: Start with a tall element to create a focal point, next add in some seasonal color, followed by trailing plants to hang over
Make sure the liner has holes for drainage
Fill 2/3 of the way with soil
Plant plants from center of box out
Add in any seasonal decorations




