SHRUB ROSES
WESTWOOD GROWN QUALITY
Shrub roses have become very popular in the last ten years. Most of the roses you see in suburban landscapes are KnockOut shrub roses. It is the most disease resistant variety available. It survives the best with the least amount of care; however, it is not fragrant and the color options are a bit limited. Knockouts do require pruning and get quite large without it. It is the easiest rose to grow, and a great place to start for beginners – but keep the journey going and try other types as well.
Westwood grows 1 rose crop per year in the early Spring. The roses are usually ready for sale starting in mid-March. We start with every variety at every store, but once we sell out – we are out. So…start early for best selection.
