Poinsettias for Fundraisers:
Looking for a great way to raise money for your group or charity? Sell Westwood Grown Poinsettias! You will be helping your group and buying locally grown products at the same time. We offer special discounted pricing to help make it a little easier, but we have a couple of rules:
1) Minimum quantity: You must buy at least 75
2) Red only.
3) You must book a quantity by November 21st and you must take the entire amount you booked.
4) All of your poinsettias will be delivered at once (usually around Dec 1st) - no pick-ups at the retail stores.
5) Payment will be made upon delivery in the form of ONE check.

A Red, 6" one-stem pinch of course! (See the picture above)

1 plant in each pot - the industry calls that a 1-stem
Pinched - we stick a cutting in the pot, grow it for several weeks and then "pinch" the top out. That forces the plant to grow multiple branches and blooms. (The blooms on a poinsettia are called bracts.)
Size of the plant: 15-18" tall, 12-15" wide, 5-7 blooms per plant.
The fundraiser poinsettias include a bright metallic, gold pot cover.
Why are Westwood Grown Poinsettias so special?
We grow them right here in Northwest Arkansas. From the beginning we take very good care of them, watching closely over water, temperature, fertilizer - everything they need to be happy and grow right! When its time to sell them -we put a sign on the bench....
The big box retailers...they buy the cheapest poinsettia they can locate which is usually from far, far away.... Then the poinsettias travel days and miles in a dark box on a bumpy truck to get here. Poinsettias are very delicate; they don't like riding in a truck! Limbs break. Leaves get scuffed. Spending that many days in a dark box leaves them pale and washed-out which is then compounded by leaving them on the shelf under fluorescent lights. You get a tired, broken poinsettia that won't last as long....
But we grow them right here! No shipping damage. No scuffed leaves. Bright, vibrant colors that last longer at home. And, bonus, you get to pick from 10,000! You get a bright, happy poinsettia fresh from the greenhouse that lasts much longer at home.
