We grow our herbs in 4" round pots to give them a little extra room in the flats - so they don't grow together and get leggy. You get bigger fuller plants that are usable sooner. We take special care not to treat our herbs or vegetables with any pesticides so you can use them upon taking them home!
If you haven't tried planting an herb garden, you should. Herbs are very forgiving and very easy. They can get a little dry in the summer and keep on going. Some even establish themselves and return next year. Plus what's more fun than cooking with herbs from your own garden?
